To help international students understand traditional Chinese medicine culture, on October 19th, the Ministry of International Exchange and Cooperation and the School of Pharmacy jointly organized the Walking into the Garden of Herbs, Understanding Traditional Chinese Medicine event for international students.
Wang Jian'an, Director of the Teaching and Research Office of Chinese Medicine at the School of Pharmacy, led international students to visit the Gardenof Herbson the Rizhao Campus. He vividly and detailedly introduced the names, medicinal parts, pharmacological functions, and other traditional Chinese medicine knowledge of various Chinese medicinal materials, answered the questions raised by international students, and provided guidance on their diet, daily routine, cold prevention, and fitness in China based on traditional Chinese medicine theory. International students were amazed by the breadth and depth of traditional Chinese medicine culture, and shared their experiences and good therapeutic effects of using traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine methods to treat diseases.
