In order to effectively improve the fire safety awareness of international students coming to China at our school, and enhance their ability to resist fires and escape self rescue, a fire training and drill activity for international students was held at the international student apartment of the affiliated hospital on the afternoon of December 7th. The training was led by Professor Yan Hupeng from the Security Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Jinan Medical University. He provided training on how to detect fire hazards, prevent fires, and handle fires in student apartments. Then, full-time fire protection staff from the Security Department conducted on-site exercises in the residence of international students. International students expressed that they had mastered the essentials of fire equipment through this training, further enhancing their awareness of fire safety, which improved emergency response capabilities for fires.
All of the teachers of the International Education College, staff of the Security Office of affiliated hospitals, and all international students attended this training.
