On October 18th, in order to implement the requirements of the "Opinions of the General Office of the
Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council on the Implementation
of the Inheritance and Development Project of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture" (Zhongban Fa [2017]
No.5), implement the spirit of the National Provincial Language and Writing Conference, and deepen the
implementation of the Chinese Classics Recitation Project, our college actively selected international
students coming to China to participate in the selection competition of the 2022 Shandong Provincial
University International Student Mandarin Competition.
The competition is divided into four stages: self introduction, talent performance, keynote speech, and
judges' questions. After receiving scores, answering questions, and comprehensively evaluated by the judges,
international students Ma Shanyu and Wu Hao won the first prize, while Xiangshan and Bai Si both won the
second and third prizes respectively.This Mandarin competition for international students in China has
enriched their campus cultural life and provided a platform for exchange and display of Chinese culture.
